Preparedness & Response

We listen. We act. We give. Before and after a crisis, communities can count on Target.

Safe. Prepared. Supported.

We want every Target store and community to be a safe place to work and shop, where team members and guests alike feel comfortable. That’s why we use cutting-edge technology, safety-minded store design and team member training to keep our stores and parking lots safe.

We develop strong relationships with local public safety leaders through initiatives like National Night Out, Safe City and Shop With A Cop. And by sharing resources and ideas with partners such as the Big City Emergency Managers Forum and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, we’re helping build safer, more connected communities.
